Frenchvision Project

IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON DIABETES CENTRE (ICLDC)

Imperial College London Diabetic Centre opened in Abu Dhabi in 2006. Since then, French Vision is the creative design partner of the Centre supporting all their design projects and marketing requirements.

In 2007, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Imperial College London Diabetes Centre was aiming to develop a public health awareness campaign to become a community resource on healthy living.

French Vision is proud to have created Diabetes.Knowledge.Action, now the longest running public health awareness campaign in the country. We created the first logo and ‘look and feel’ of the campaign around 4 pillars – I walk, I eat right, I cook healthily, I play sport. We conceptualized and organized a series of events to communicate the purpose behind each pillar.

For each event, we designed all the promotional materials across a range of applications from booths in malls, cooking stands, merchandising, giveaways, printed advertising, to website, radio spots and TVCs. We supported these initiatives until 2010.

The most famous activation created by French Vision, which is still running to date, is the annual walkathon on the Yas island F1 Circuit coinciding with World Diabetes Day in November every year.
